Cara Young Aug 27th Cook Children’s Benefit & Extravaganza
Fine dining, live entertainment, a wine pull and a special silent auction will await guests at the Cara Young Fish for Life Silent Auction Extravaganza on Aug. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Arlington Board of Realtors office, 3916 W. Interstate 20 frontage road.
The event celebrates the life of Cara Young, who passed away in 2008 from cystic fibrosis, and funds raised benefit Cook Children’s Medical Center and families who are battling the deadly disease through the new “Cara Cards”.
A scrumptious dinner will be catered by Mac’s Bar & Grill, and live music by country music entertainer Sonny Burgess will make it a very special evening of fun. Auction swag includes resort stays, gift baskets, sports packages and other great items.
