    College Town UTA

Great breakfast and tour of the new college park center.
This place is really cool and adds so much to UTA and downtown Arlington.

    Technology committee

Interesting comment from my friend Larry from Texoma area, that technology has greatly progressed but in so many areas of our lives we have really regressed!  A lot of truth in that statement.

    Old Town Cleaners-Burleson

After moving to Burleson several years ago I've had a hard time finding a cleaners that was comparable to Hillcrest in Arlington. Gone through several that were very disappointing, not only poor quality but the service stunk! Not looking for a whole lot, just act like you appreciate the business and want more!

Actually gave up and kept taking my clothes to Hillcrest. I am glad I tried one more, Old Town Cleaners, 139 West Ellison Street, Burleson, (817) 447-6355. Their quality of work has been excellent and their service is tops. Even remembering my name on only my second visit. Here is a new concept, they don't flatten out my cuffs on my shirts when they press them but press them correctly!! Seems like a simple thing but I've found it's not with other cleaners.
    I highly recommend them!

    TAR economic forecast

Called a slow recovery, still issues but not as many in Texas! Stable prices and in many areas of Tx some rising prices.

Great time to buy for those that can, been that way for awhile but some are just waking up to that fact. But, then comes in the difficulty of obtaining a mortgage. The loans are there, you need to know who is and want to loan the money!

Do you think foreclosures and short sales have bottomed out? The speaker from NAR thinks so.

Bottom line, its been a rough 4 yrs! But…things looking up!

Kerby’s Point of View – Constitution No Longer the Model

Scary, especially if you have studied the other models spoken of. For sure the other models sound really good until you realize more and more of our freedom and independence is removed. Sign of the times? Or…have you ever watched sheep or cattle being herded?

    Choice

The power of choice is one of if not the greatest power we wield and, if we don't know how to read the map to get us there or the blueprint to build, we're in big trouble, or, how will we make the right choices?
