    The Word and the Name

Anytime you remove God from anything, it’s not good. And when you ask that prayers not be ended in the name of Jesus, that Name that is above all names because of “political correctness” and so as not to offend anyone…even worse.

    Hosea 4:6

    Real Estate & other issues

I’m doing this blog under my Romans VIII site even though I’m at a Texas Assoc. of Realtors State convention because, along with real estate the talk from many is the state and condition of our country.

Many are very concerned, even some downright afraid of the current state and direction this United States of America is now in and heading to. And, I might add, rightfully so to feel that way!

I’ve never been one to be an alarmist but as the Word of God says it’s time to sound the alarm on My Holy Mountain! Please, at least follow Gods reasoning and logic in testing and trying the spirits to see if they be from God. Being careful to sift what you hear. Remember, Jesus said as in the days of Noah…

What to do? As my brother in the Lord Gary Maler and I were discussing, better pray and seek His face while He still can be found. For in a flood of great waters… And I might add 1 Peter 4:17.

Again, the Gaither song…theres a line drawn down through the ages…and the Lord Jesus himself said…you are either for Me or against Me, you are either gathering with Me or scattering. Lets get real and judge ourselves at this time to see where we stand, and I suppose, where we want to stand. Psalm 2 talks about those on one side of the fence & those on the other. Joshua discusses this, making the bold statement…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

    Texas Association of Realtors

Looking forward to the Texas State meetings. My last year to serve as a Texas Association director and I have very much enjoyed serving at the State level. Sometimes folks get tired of hearing me make the Biblical statement and one that my Mom taught me, to whom much is given, much is required. I’ve been given much and especially in Real Estate as a fourth career for me and I’m more than glad to give back to this wonderful industry!

I’m also looking forward to the river walk and various other things to do in my off time while in San Antonio.

    Iron men

Get a chance watch Iron Men, great shots of Ironworkers putting up bridges, structures, etc.

It will give you an idea of what I was blessed to do for 17 years and why it was, to me, even more exciting than riding bulls!

    Gotta love those connectors!

Confess what the Word says…NOT what the circumstance says…

Psalm 45:1 My heart overflows with a good theme (a good speech, a good word, a good thing, a good utterance); I address (to say, to speak, to utter, to think, to say in one's heart) my verses (my deeds, my work, my business, my pursuit and achievements) to the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready and skillful writer.

Through out the Bible there is basic foundational teaching of the correlation between the heart and the mouth. The importance of establishing the Word, or Jesus in our hearts and the the power of confession out of our mouth! Evidence this in the foundational Scripture of leading folks to the Lord used in Romans 10:9,10. Of course those verses don't just stop after you get born again. No, they continue through our walk, hopefully to maturity because the word for salvation also means deliverance! Notice the wordage in 1 Cor. 1:18 and 2 Cor. 3:18 as examples.

So many more verses but here are just a few more…

    Joshua 1:8

    Proverbs 18:21

    Ask, seek, knock

He will answer, you will find and the door (Jn. 10) will be opened.

Jer. 33:3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

He had given us everything pertaining to life and Godliness in His Word.

So trust in the Lord with ALL your heart

    The Word…

    “The Deity of Christ
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
