Austin Hill visits

Preparing for upcoming Hill visit meetings with our Texas Representatives and Senators regarding real estate and private property rights issues effective Texas Real Estate NOW!

This is a full day which will take place April 12th but it is so worth the time to represent the real estate community but, more important to me, private property rights of the fine folks that entrust me and all Texas Realtors with their real estate needs issues and needs.

Tech class

Excited to be teaching another tech class on Wednesday at Remax office. This one on using QR codes for marketing and some fun too. These qr codes are pretty cool & have lots of uses.

Candidate interviews
Once again it's time to listen to what they want us to hear, or think they want us to hear.

Actually that is the reason we do this at the Arlington Board of Realtor's, have the city council & school board candidates come in and answer questions we have for them.

I've participated in this little tete a tete over the years and even though it is an all day torture for me to sit still that long, it's a very good way to listen, observe and decide on who the Board will be endorsing. I personally like to hear the candidates answer questions that are about their role in Government, why they are pursuing this endeavor and especially answer questions/concerns we as Realtors have regarding private property rights! Interesting ides and answers always come forth.

I guess the most amazing thing I see revealed from some of them is their lack of knowing what's going on with issues that are presented them in question form. Oh well, this is politics…isn't it??

Twitter/tech class

Had a great time teaching class on social media, especially twitter today…Well, what I know amounts to about 5 min but any good sales person can extend that to an hour!!

Really good turn out. Always interesting teaching various degrees and levels of understanding but bottom line is hope I was able to give some new marketing ideas.

Again, thank you all for attending & listening to some boring stories.
